News, Reviews, and Thanks

Super Speller has been getting a lot of attention lately. So much so, that we had to break down and set up this shiny new blog since this won’t all fit nicely as a tweet or Facebook post.

First up, we are so excited to announce that Super Speller was nominated in the Best Elementary Student App category of the 2011 Best App Ever Awards! If you’re a fan of Super Speller, we hope you will please consider voting for us.

Speaking of the 2011 Best App Ever Awards, we participate with some really great developers at Moms With Apps, helping one another to create, promote, and develop quality apps for kids and families. Several Moms With Apps developers have also been nominated and we’ve created a page listing all of the nominees. Check it out. There are some very good apps listed here.

We’ve also received several new reviews recently.

The first review is from Amanda, aka The iMum, who runs an Australian-based blog with news and reviews about apps and products created for Apple devices, such as the iPod, iPhone, iPad and Mac. She also has interviews and the occasional giveaway.

The next review is from iHeartThisApp. This site provides reviews and lets you supply your own rating as well. So you don’t just have to take their word for it, you can see how others have rated each app as well.

And the last review is from Famigo. Famigo also focuses on safe apps for your family and kids, and they have some nice filtering abilities that help you locate exactly the type of app you’re looking for.

We’d like to take a moment to thank all of the reviewers for taking the time to review Super Speller. We know there are hundreds of new apps available on the App Store each day, and reviewers are swamped trying to keep up with them all. Not only do they help consumers make informed purchases, but they help us identify areas where we, as developers, can improve, which ends up helping everyone. So, to all of the reviewers, especially at The iMum, iHeartThisApp, and Famigo: Thank you!
